Tsekmo Global Reward System
Event Date:
November 19, 2024 (World Toilet Day)
To celebrate World Toilet Day, Tsekmo is rewarding participants who report and help fix bathrooms around the world through the Tsekmo app. The challenge will start on October 19, 2024, and culminate on November 19, 2024. Participants can win global and country-specific prizes based on their contributions.
Prizes
Global Prizes: Tier 1
1st Place (Global): $10,000
2nd to 10th Place (Global): $1,000 each
Country-Specific Prizes Tier 2 & 3
Top Participant in Each Country: $100 (175 winners globally)
Top Participant in Each Country: $50 (175 winners globally)
Important Note: No participant can receive more than one prize (global or country-specific).
Points System:
To encourage meaningful contributions, points will be awarded based on the following criteria:
1 Point: For each bathroom reported (unique, non-duplicate, verified with images).
2 Points: If the bathroom is phisically clean by the entity and post it in the Tsekmo app as a result of the report.
2 Points: When the bathroom entity signs up with Stripe for verification (fraud prevention).
Participation Rules
Unique Bathroom Reports: Participants can report the same bathroom multiple times, but each report must be unique and accompanied by images to ensure legitimacy. Duplicate reports will be flagged, reviewed, and deleted.
Entity Verification and Sign-Up: If a bathroom owner/entity claims their bathroom after being reported, they will be prompted to download the Tsekmo Entity App. Once the entity signs up, that bathroom can no longer be reported in the Tsekmo Report App. Instead, bathroom maintenance is handled directly through the Tsekmo Entity App.
Points Accumulation Example:
Reporting 4 bathrooms that are then fixed and verified (2 points for fixing + 2 points for Stripe verification) = 20 points (qualifying for prizes).
Reporting 20 unique bathrooms without entity fixes or verification = 20 points.
Eligibility for Prizes
To be eligible for any prize, a participant must earn at least 20 points. This ensures participants contribute significantly to the challenge.
Example of 20-point minimum:
Reporting and fixing 4 bathrooms (5 points per bathroom: 1 for reporting, 2 for fixing, 2 for Stripe verification) = 20 points.
Reporting 20 unique bathrooms without entity fixes or Stripe verification = 20 points.
Fraud Prevention Measures
Stripe Verification: To ensure authenticity, bathroom entities must verify their identity through Stripe before their bathrooms can be counted as fixed or maintained.
Image-Based Reporting: Duplicate reports will be automatically flagged, and only the first valid report will receive points.
Timeline
Registration Opens: September 19, 2024
App Launch: October 1, 2024
Reporting Begins: October 15, 2024
Challenge Ends: November 19, 2024 (World Toilet Day) at 10 AM PST
Participants can begin reporting bathrooms on October 15, but registration is open from September 19, giving everyone time to prepare for the launch.
First-Come, First-Served Basis
Once an entity claims their bathroom and downloads the Tsekmo Entity App, they can no longer be reported in the general app. This incentivizes entities to maintain their bathrooms to avoid public reporting.

Terms and Conditions
By participating in the Tsekmo Global Bathroom Challenge ("Challenge"), you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, Policy, Rules and Guidelines, and Privacy Policy. This document ensures complete transparency, fairness, and legal compliance, minimizing the risk of litigation while protecting the privacy and rights of all participants.
1. Eligibility and Participant Obligations
Age Verification:
All participants must be at least 18 years old. Upon registration, participants will be required to verify their identity and age by submitting a government-issued ID through a third-party identity verification service.
Participants can use nicknames publicly (e.g., leaderboard display), but their real name and age must be verified during registration to ensure legal compliance and prevent fraud.
Parental Consent for Minors:
Minors (under 18) are prohibited from participating. If it is discovered that a minor has registered, their account will be immediately deleted, and any prizes forfeited. Parents or guardians may contact support@tsekmo.com to report unauthorized minor participation.
Country-Specific Legal Compliance:
The Challenge is open to participants worldwide, except where prohibited by law. A list of ineligible countries will be provided at registration and updated as necessary. Participants are responsible for confirming that their participation is lawful under their local regulations.
Participants must provide proof of residency (e.g., utility bill, government ID) upon registration to verify country-specific prize eligibility. Residency must be valid for at least 6 months before registration to qualify for country-specific prizes.
Responsibility for Legal Compliance:
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they comply with local laws regarding contests and prize winnings. Tsekmo is not liable for any legal or tax consequences resulting from a participant’s failure to comply with local regulations.
Disqualification for False Information:
Participants who provide false information, including fake IDs or residency documents, will be disqualified. If a participant is disqualified after winning, they will forfeit their prize. Tsekmo will notify participants of disqualification and provide a 5-business-day appeal window.
2. Registration and Prize Eligibility
Unambiguous Registration Process:
Registration is open from September 19, 2024, to October 19, 2024. No late registrations will be accepted. All participants must submit valid documentation during the registration period.
Proof of Identity and Residency:
Participants must upload a government-issued ID and proof of residence. Tsekmo will use a third-party service to verify the authenticity of these documents. Failure to provide accurate information will result in disqualification.
Nickname Usage for Privacy:
Participants may use a nickname for privacy purposes during the Challenge (e.g., on leaderboards). However, their real name and identity will be securely verified at registration. Participants agree that Tsekmo will store and use their real identity for legal compliance purposes.
Prize Eligibility and Taxes:
Tsekmo will withhold U.S. taxes for U.S. residents and provide the required tax forms (e.g., IRS Form W-9). International participants are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on their prizes in their country of residence. Tsekmo is not responsible for any tax-related issues.
Prize Payment Timeline:
Prizes will be paid within 60 business days after the Challenge concludes. Tsekmo will notify all prize winners within 14 days after the Challenge ends. Any delays will be communicated to winners in a timely manner.
Currency Exchange:
Prizes are awarded in U.S. dollars (USD). International winners are responsible for any currency exchange fees or losses, and Tsekmo is not liable for changes in exchange rates.
Unclaimed Prizes:
Prizes unclaimed within 90 days of notification will be forfeited. Tsekmo will attempt to contact winners via the email and phone number provided during registration. Failure to respond within this timeframe will result in the prize being offered to the next eligible participant.
3. Point System and Reporting Rules
Clear Point Allocation:
1 point: Earned for each unique bathroom report submitted via the app. Bathrooms must be public or semi-public, and duplicate or false reports will be disqualified.
2 points: Awarded if the bathroom is fixed as a result of the report. Entities must provide evidence of the fix through the Tsekmo Entity App.
2 points: Awarded when a bathroom entity signs up for verification through Stripe, ensuring the legitimacy of the entity and preventing fraud.
Reporting Guidelines:
Participants must submit accurate reports, including clear, non-identifiable images of the bathroom’s condition. All images are reviewed through Tsekmo’s AI system to ensure they are unique and not duplicates.
Bathrooms already claimed by an entity cannot be reported again. Once an entity takes responsibility for the bathroom, it will be removed from the reporting pool.
Fraudulent Reporting:
Participants caught submitting false reports, duplicate reports, or using automated tools (e.g., bots) will be disqualified. Tsekmo will notify disqualified participants within 5 business days, and they will have a 10-business-day appeal period to provide evidence contesting the disqualification.
4. Fraud Prevention and Security
Two-Step Verification:
To protect against unauthorized access, participants must enable two-step verification when registering for the Challenge. This enhances security and ensures that only legitimate participants can submit reports and claim prizes.
Bot Detection and Fraud Monitoring:
Tsekmo uses advanced bot detection systems to prevent automated reporting. Participants attempting to use bots or similar automated tools will be disqualified. Additionally, Tsekmo will monitor participant behavior to identify and investigate any suspicious activities.
Reporting Fraud or Misconduct:
Participants who suspect fraud or misconduct can report it directly to fraud@energizm.com. All reports will be investigated within 5 business days, and Tsekmo will take appropriate action, including disqualification of fraudulent participants.
5. Prize Distribution and Clawback Conditions
Prize Clawback:
Tsekmo reserves the right to reclaim prizes if it is later determined that the participant violated the rules (e.g., by submitting false reports or using false identification). Tsekmo will notify the participant of any prize clawback and provide an appeal window.
Disqualification Appeals:
Participants who are disqualified can submit an appeal within 10 business days of the disqualification notice. Appeals must include supporting documentation to prove compliance with the rules. Tsekmo will review the appeal within 5 business days and issue a final, non-contestable decision.
Prize Claiming Process:
Participants must claim their prize within 90 days of notification. Winners must submit valid identification and complete any required tax documentation before the prize is distributed.
Policy, Rules, and Guidelines
1. Bathroom Reporting Guidelines
Eligible Bathrooms:
Only public or semi-public bathrooms are eligible for reporting. Private or restricted-access bathrooms cannot be reported, and participants submitting such reports will be disqualified.
Reporting Requirements:
Each report must include clear, non-identifiable photos of the bathroom’s cleanliness, damage, or condition, along with its accurate location. Reports missing required details or with poor-quality photos will be rejected.
Duplicate Reports:
Bathrooms already reported by another participant or claimed by an entity cannot be reported again. Tsekmo’s AI system will flag duplicate reports and disqualify participants attempting to submit them.
